Hi! Welcome to the official website of Karla Isabel Barroso

It's so nice to meet you! My name is Karla Isabel Barroso and I'm 18 years old.

​

I'm a passionate filmmaker & screenwriter based in London. 

I was born in Madrid (Spain)  but I decided to move to the UK to pursue my career.

​

I'm currently doing a Film Degree in Middlesex University aiming to become a professional director & screenwriter in the near future.

​

I have also discovered film photography in which I'm really interested.

With my dad's old COSINA CT1 Super I'm working every day to improve my photography skills as I would love to shoot my future projects on film.

​

I am also one of the founders of FEMILA PHOTOGRAPHY, a tiny photography business that also counts with the talented Anamika Das & Nefeli Dimakea.

With Femila we try to help those who want to get in the fashion&film industry by doing model polaroids or casting portraits.

In this website you will be able to find some of the projects I've recently directed/produced, a compilation of scripts, shot lists, floor plans, shooting schedules, storyboards... from my recent projects, a collection of my photography work and some shorts in which I've acted.
